Juran President And CEO Published In Popular Quality Magazine
Juran Institute President and Chief Executive Officer, Joseph De Feo, was recently published in the June issue of Quality, a monthly business publication serving the process improvement needs of more than 64,000 manufacturing professionals.
De Feo’s article, “Lean Defense,” outlines government contractors, defense agencies and military medical systems that use performance improvement techniques such as Lean and Six Sigma to reduce costs while ensuring the safety of the United States and its allies. He discusses the three essential ingredients to a successful Lean program as well as benefits from implementing the methodology.
De Feo is recognized worldwide for his training and consulting experience in enabling enterprises to achieve business excellence. His varied areas of expertise include: coaching executives to understand key factors in driving enterprise-wide change programs, developing and deploying breakthrough management principles like Lean and Six Sigma, and working to deploy client strategic plans. He received his B.S. in industrial engineering from Central Connecticut State University and his M.B.A. from Western Connecticut State University.
