Six Sigma
Juran’s certification is offered to Green Belts who develop sufficient knowledge to support Six Sigma through the participation in Six Sigma projects as a team leader or a team member. Black Belt Certification is also available to those managers and technical specialists assigned full responsibility to implement Six Sigma through a business unit, function, or process. Black Belts will become viewed as “initiators” of Quality activity. Black Belts are on-site Six Sigma implementation experts with the ability to:
- Develop, coach and lead cross-functional improvement teams.
- Mentor and advise management on prioritizing, planning and launching Six Sigma projects.
- Use, teach and disseminate Six Sigma tools and methods to Green Belts and team members.
Lean Expert
Lean Experts are managers or technical specialists assigned full responsibility to facilitate Value Stream Improvements. Lean Experts will become viewed as “initiators” of quality activity and authorities on the process of on-site Lean implementation, with the ability to:
- Develop, coach and lead cross-functional improvement teams.
- Mentor and advise management on prioritizing, planning and launching Lean Rapid Improvement projects.
- Use, teach and disseminate Lean tools and mehtods to team members.
Master Black Belt and Lean Master
Master Black Belts (MBBs) and Lean Masters are company-wide Lean, Six Sigma and Quality Management experts. They are qualified to instruct others in the methodologies, tools and applications at all functions and levels of an organization. They provide guidance to business leaders, integrating the Lean and Six Sigma methods into the business strategy of the organization. They also contribute to creating and carrying out the organization’s strategic business and operational plans, and provide coaching to Black Belts and team leaders.
