Root Cause Analysis >

Rapid Improvement also known as Kaizen, or Fast Track Teams, use lean techniques to analyze an organization's business processes and implement improvements in as little as 5 weeks. Using those familiar with the process to be improved, resources are divided to accomplish:

  • a high-level flow diagram and formulated theories of root cause on day one
  • a data collection plan and tool used immediately after for a period of two weeks
  • intensive, 16-hour training on the quality improvement process for team members who would work on the tools and techniques needed to bring about the improvement

Following this path, a team can begin brainstorming solutions in less than three weeks! With the use of planning tools and control charts, a new streamlined process can ready for implementation within two weeks.

This process enables:

  • quick reduction in costs
  • accelerated improvements
  • increased customer satisfaction
  • transfer of knowledge
